7. January 2022: Pema, a kind woman living in Kuengacholing Motithang is taking care of homeless dogs in her neighborhood. She reached out to us and asked for a doghouse for a dog which was bitten by another pack. Today she picked up the house Nochu. Thank you dear Pema and a big thank you to the donor of the doghouse. Also Mr. Singye Wangchuk picked up two doghouses for the free roaming dogs living in his vicinity. He lives in Changbangdu area and he has noticded many homeless dogs. Thank you for picking up the house and for caring. This is true compassion.
7. January 2022: A kind person who lives below RTC contacted us about the free roaming and the abandoned dogs in their neighborhood that they have been taken care of. We managed to place 2 houses. Thank you Celesta, for your PRINCESS A-doghouses. They bring a true change to many many dogs here in Thimphu.
3. January 2022: A generous couple lives below RTC contacted us about the free roaming dogs in their neighbourhood. The couple takes care of the dogs. The place where they live is much colder than other places in Thimphu, so the dogs there were really in need of some good shelter. We placed three doghouses. Thank you so much dear donors Celesta from Australia for the two PRINCESS A-houses and Mr. Karma Dorji for the ZEE-house.
30. December 2021: Sara Subba, a passionate animal lover who lives in Debsi has reached out to us about the neeed for doghouses in her vicinity. She has been feeding and taking care of them. Thank you Jeroen from THE NETHERLANDS to donate another doghouse for your mother SUZY and thank you Edy from SWITZERLAND for the house CHNUSCHTI (replaced, as not being used in old place).
30. December 2021: The same kind lady from Taba has donated a doghouse called Mickey Mouse for the dogs living in her area. She reached about a week ago out to us. Today we were finally able to place the Mickey Mouse House. Thank you so much for everyone involved.
29. December 2021: A kind person, Tobgye Furb, has reached out to us about a doghouse for puppies and their mommy and other dogs living in this neighborhood in Dantak Area. He has been feeding and taking care of them. So we placed two houses there. Thank you to the donors (forget-me-not from Ursi and Bruno fro SWITZERLAND and Peter Lognnou).
29. December 2021: We want to thank a kind lady who reached out to us about the doghouse for a old dog and puppies living near Lungtenzampa above the Olympic ground. Thanks to the generous donor WANGYEL REAL ESTATE, the kind lady in the neighborhood, our Bolero driver and his friend for all the support in making this happen.
20. December 2021: After a kind animal loving lady from Taba reached out to us, we placed 5 doghouses for the most needy ones. Thank you so much dear donors, you brought a immense change to the furry ones. Thank you dear donors in Switzerland and Bhutan.
4. - 8. December 2021: Phajoding Monastery and Thujidra Monastery - MISSION completed. Wow, a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all volunteers and our carpenter Choeda Woodworks. Singye was the coordinator and initator of this almost impossible mission. In Phajoding the Team build 5 doghouses on site, of course with scrap wood like all our other houses. At Thujidra Monastery we build 2 houses. The team and some kind monks carried the wood up to almost 4000 meters above sealevel.
7. December 2021: We stopped at Shaba and fed all the dogs along the road. We placed a house for two puppies and her mommy. Warm clothes protect them from the winter cold. Thank you so much DSS DRUK SOCIAL SERVICES for your kind donation.
7. December 2021: Along the highway Thimphu - Paro are many free roaming dogs. Sometimes also puppies are seen. It is very hard life for all animals. We fed them all along the road and for one small family we had one leftover doghouse with us. So this family has its lucky day and a brandnew home. Thank you so much for all your donated doghouses DSS DRUK SOCIAL SERVICES.
7. December 2021: This furry family seemed in urgent need of a doghouse. A Mommy and her 5 pups were living just on the cold ground in the forest. We gave her a beautiful red house donated from DSS DRUK SOCIAL SERVICES. We fed them all and we hope the mommy will accept her new home.
7. December 2021: Just below Taktsang base, there were a group of dogs (almost 15 dogs). Most of them sterilized and very friendly. We fed them all and placed two doghouses with warm clothes in it. Thank you DRUK SOCIAL SERVICES and the kind group of people who donated doghouse REWA.
7. December 2021: On the way back down from Taktsang base there was another big group of dogs We stopped and fed them all. One of the dogs had severe mange on his body. We placed a house and gave the poor boy some medecin. Thank you so much to the lovely couple from India, Ann & Yatin. The doghouse was a surprise gift for Ann :-)
27. November 2021: What a relief, we have managed to place 6 doghouses at the Taktsang Base and the monastery below the parking before December.

24. November 2021: We place totally 3 doghouses in the heart of Thimphu near Hotel Osel.

31. October 2021: We again drive to Bjemina and place totally 3 doghouses.
1. The doghouse "Finn", donated by Vanessa from Switzerland, is given to a poor dog with mange. We treat him since 3 weeks, he looks a bit better, but still he needs a lot of healthy and good food. The old woman who looks after the dog is welcoming the doghouse very much. She also has a cat, so we also gave her a cat house donated by Anja and Jürgen from Germany.
2. The Doghouse "Mary Puppins", donated by Noemi from Switzerland, is given to an old man who takes care of 3 free roaming dogs. He is kind enough to feed the dogs everyday.
3. The Doghouse "S&C&H (Spore)", donated by a kind doglover from Singapore, is donated to a kind woman who takes care of at least 5 free roaming dogs. She was very happy to receive the doghouse. Thank you so much for taking care.
24. October 2021: This morning we managed to place three doghouses at the Nyidey Monastery in Bjimena. It's a 40 minutes drive from Thimphu. There live 7 to 8 dogs. Monks and Lopens at the Lhakhang are kind enough to feed the dogs everyday. Also we were very happy to see, that the dogs have names :-) A big thank you goes to donors YESHEY, DOMINIQUE and FABIENNE. Without donors these dogs would not have a roof, thank you all for making a difference.
10. October 2021: On the way back to Thimphu from Tshelung Ney Monastery we stopped at Chithang Rabten Choling Lhakhang. It is an hour drive from Thimphu. There are at least 7 dogs. People and Lopens at the Lhakhang are kind enough to feed the dogs every day. All the free roaming dogs there are well taken care of,healthy and friendly. And most important all are sterilized. Thank you dear RAYMOND CATTANEO from SWITZERLAND. All of Raymonds donated doghouses (total 10 pieces) are now placed in and around Thimphu!
10. October 2021: This morning we managed to place a doghouse at the Tshelung Ney Monastery. A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our pick-up driver Nima, Azha Lam and all the volunteer Lopens at the Monastery. And again a very big thank you goes to Mr. RAYMOND CATTANEO from SWITZERLAND who donated this house "Attika Heidi".
3. October 2021: Todays journey was adventurous, but so worthy. Some kind people reached out to us about the puppies living at the BBS Tower, just above the Thadra Goemba. We were asked if we could place some houses for them. It has always been a challenge for us when it comes to the transportation of the houses. It involves a lot of cost, as the Boleros are not cheap to hire. However family and friends helped us out on this project. We had even enough money to bring the dogs some rice and dried fish. A big thank you goes to the donor of the houses, Mr. RAYMOND CATTANEO from SWITZERLAND.
28. September 2021:Yeah today we did it. Doghouse Bhutan distributed the first "Cat-Homes" :-) We are so proud and happy for the cats. We donated one cathouse to Zangto Pelri Monastery in Thimphu and 3 cathouses to the Zilukha Nunnery in Thimphu. Stay warm dear cats. Winter is coming soon.

27. September 2021: Today we managed to place 3 doghouses at Zangto Pelri Lhakhang. The monks are feeding all the roaming dogs around the Lhakhang and we are very happy to see the dogs have now a cozy "guesthouse", where they are protected from rain and cold. Thank you so much dear donor RAYMOND from Luzern in SWITZERLAND. This will make a true difference for the dogs.
6. September 2021: Until today Doghouse Bhutan has placed or donated 50 DOGHOUSES!!! A huge thank you to all the people which are involved.

5. September 2021: A group of kind STUDENTS who are scout members of BABESA HIGH SCHOOL have formed a group and started to feed free roaming dogs in and around their areas. While feeding they have found the need of doghouses and asked us if we can donate some houses for the dogs. Thank you dear students for taking care! And a big thank you to JEROEN who donated totally 10 doghouses. Woof wooof!
22. August 2021: Big day for Doghouse Bhutan. With many volunteers we have painted 12 new houses. Thank you all so much for spending the day here in Babesa and painting the doghouses with us.
10 of the houses are donated by the very genereous and kind Mr. Jeroen Uittenbogaard from The Netherlands. Then one house is donated by Karma Pharmacy in Thimphu and one house from Mr. Wangchuk Dorji from Trashigang. Without our donors it would not be possible to do what we do. We are very grateful.
17. August 2021: Two more doghouses are delivered to Zilukha Anim Goenpa. "Joyas Swiss Chalet" and "Opa Hans" are both donated by Swiss animal lovers. Thank you so much for the support, dear Swiss. And again many thanks to our helpers Norbu Gyeltshen and his friends.
16. August 2021: After work Desuup Karma Tshering is picking up a doghouse for the homeless dog family near his house. Thank you so much Karma for caring. House "Tobgay" was build and donated by Thinley Namgay. Thank you so much Thinley. Your donation is highly appreciated.
15. August 2021: Also Zilukha Anim Goenpa permitted us to place two doghouses in their nunnery in Zilukha, Thimphu. As the nunnery has many dogs and cats as well, we will bring more houses for dogs and also for cats. Thank you for donating the houses "Muotathal" and "Odiyana". And as always we are very grateful for all the volunteers which help us place the houses. Without them it would not be possible to do.
15. August 2021: With permission of the Tango Monsatery, Doghouse Bhutan managed to place two more doghouses (total 4 doghouses)in the compound of the University. Thank you from the heart to our pick-up driver, Mr. Norbu Gyeltshen from Druk Eye Tours & Travels, Azha Lams and all the volunteers. Thank you all to make this happen! And a big thank you goes to our donators for the Dog Guesthouses by Eliana and the lovely Berlin doghouse.
10. August 2021: Today we managed to place four of our doghouses at Pangrizampa Monastery. Doghouse "Welcome paws" is donated by Tashi Schmidt, doghouse "Pajeka", "SPIRO" and "ALFI" are donated by lovely swiss friends and great animal lovers. To all donators a big thank you.
9. August 2021: Thank you Yangchen for taking the initiative and placing two houses at the Buddha Point Park. Doghouse "Peters Home Sweet Home" and "Archie" are donated by swiss animal lovers. Thank you so much for the support!
Then Yangchen also placed two houses inside the Tango University Campus. Doghouse "Beatrice" and doghouse "Kathrin and Gian" are also donated from swiss animal lovers. A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
5. August 2021: We donate two houses to VAST. House "Welcome to Ambient" is donated by Café Ambient in Thimphu and the other house is donated by a bhutanese living in Australia. Thank you so much for the generous support. Again some furry society members are provided with a cozy home.

31. July 2021: Bernie's Inn is placed above Takin Park. Mr. Bernd himself has come across a homeless dog family which was desperate in need of a shelter. Some nice doglovers have already tried to give some shelter with an umbrella. A big thanks to everyone involved.
25. July 2021: Two houses are placed at the Base of Cheri Monastery. It was a bit a challenge ;-)
15. July 2021: In Kabesa. It seems like an emergency. This poor dog was mentioned on Social Media. A few days later a doglover organized a transport himself and picked up the house at our place in Serbithang. Thank you for making this dog happy.

Thanks to all involved people like our carpenter Suraj, all the artistic volunteers which put the doghouse into a piece of art, the Thromde for letting us put 2 doghouses near Clock Tower place, Peter Schmid who borrowed his Bolero for placing the houses, Yeshey the driver and the spontanous dog lovers which were just there to help at the right time and place.
